Portsmouth Public Schools, in partnership with FEMA and the Portsmouth Health Department, will be hosting vaccine clinics for any division high school student, 14-18 years-old, who would want to receive the vaccine at no cost.

FEMA staff workers will be delivering the vaccines, and each high school has an assigned schedule. Students must have a signed permission slip to receive the vaccine, and one parent/guardian must accompany him/her to receive the vaccine (unless the student is 18-years-old). Students must be enrolled at PPS to receive the vaccine, and they must go to their home school, on its assigned day, to receive the vaccine.

Students will be receiving the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two shots over 21 days. The vaccines are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the clinics will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The schedule for the vaccine clinics is below:

Wilson High School
First Vaccine – Wednesday, May 19
Second Vaccine – Wednesday, June 9
